    In 2015, AWRA recognized Oregon's approach to integrated water resources management with its prestigious IWRM Award. Join us October 26 at 1pm ET to learn about priority actions taken under the state's Integrated Water Resources Strategy (IWRS), including efforts to designate scenic waterways, quantify future water needs and develop a suite of technical and financial tools to support place-based water resources planning.     AWRA Florida's September 2016 Technical Meeting will be held Friday, September 30 at Epping Forest Yacht Club in Jacksonville. The meeting will feature presentations on a variety of water resources topics by experts from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the St. Johns River Water Management District.     Learn about the Virginia Tech Flint Water Study and how research was conducted on lead levels in Flint's water on July 13 at 1pm EDT. The webinar will provide an overview of the team's efforts combining ethics, engineering, citizen science, laboratory experiments, investigative science and social media to confirm high lead levels in Flint's water.
